Running
A day dream
Sometimes she just felt like running.
Running away from this whole demon business, running away from the hell her haven was becoming.
Running to try to save someone, running in joy, or just simply running.
Heart pumping blood, and feet slapping against the earth until they were red.
Running out of troubles, running out of things to be sad about. Running out of hope, running out of time.
Time, she was running out of time.
Maybe she was oblivious to the real world. Or was she? She couldn't really tell, but she did know she wanted to run.
"What, are you going to run away again?"
Run away from what, though? That was always that thing to wonder about. Was she running away from her friends, or was she running away from her troubles?
She wonders that as she runs out, satchel slapping against her hips as she breaks out of the place she thought would be her haven.
Then she feels somebody snap their fingers in front of her face, and she snaps back into the cold, wintry reality. Her friends are staring at her, but she simply gives a lop sided grin at all of them.
"Sorry, I was daydreaming."
"What, are you turning into Raz or something?"
"What's that supposed to mean?!"
"Shut up, Gio. What's on your mind, Lily?"
"...Nothing too important. Just...sort of got lost in my thoughts."
