This is a short one and it’s pretty simple advice.
Write whenever you get the chance to do so. It doesn’t matter if you write on a napkin after you finish eating at a diner, or that you’re on a bus going home, or on your lunch break, or on a line waiting to checkout your items or whatnot. If an idea hits you then write it down.
It helps a lot when you carry around a little notebook/notepad to scribble things down…be it ideas or scenes, situations or you continue to write story. You can always type it up later when you have time.
