I sit on the dock, looking out at the water.
I'm waiting for my love to come back to me.
He left one day but I know he will be back.
I won't leave this dock where i last said goodbye.
We kissed so sweetly, i can still feel his warm lips.
They stole him away from me to go fight in the war.
I pray that one day he will return to me, so we can be together.
I will never forget the love we shared nor will i forget the times we shared.
I miss him every day of my life, i wish he could see me now.
When he left he didn't just leave me.
He also left his unborn baby girl.
He had always wanted a baby girl, he could call her his baby.
I wish i could just kiss his lips one last time.
I wish i could spend one last night with him before he left.
I just wish he didn't go away to fight.
I know that he will never come back.
However i can always pray that the angels will give him back.
They stole him away in the fight, i wish i was there.
Holding his hand as he said goodbye to me one last time.
I just wish i could tell him, I Love you.
For the very last time.
