Women use makeup as a weapon for flattering their features, covering small flaws and highlighting their natural beauty. But while applying makeup, many forget that there are some simple rules that have to be followed in order to get the best result out of it. Otherwise, bad makeup will result in you looking ugly rather than beautiful and depending on the person, you could also end up looking a lot older or younger (not the good kind either, more childish is more like it) than you really are.
While many want to look naturally beautiful you can’t do that when your face is covered with so much makeup that you look like a clown. Less is more and many forget that it’s not meant to hide your face like a mask but meant to enhance. To do that, makeup must complement what you already have and it should match best with your features.
I prefer being natural or going for the natural look with makeup. Women are more beautiful like that instead of hiding their face. You can tell when someone wears a lot of makeup is when you see them without it and they are completely different. It’s sometimes quite shocking that they literally transform into someone else.
I know a couple of guys that like women who are natural as possible instead of covered in makeup. They rather fall in love with the woman, not with what she’s looks like with all that makeup. Anyway, less makeup also means less worry about it clogging pores and/or causing more blemishes. So it grinds my gears to see woman and girls apply so much makeup to their face when they are already naturally pretty. Even more so when all that makeup makes them look like ugly whore clowns.
