The luminescent moon, hangs brightly in the sky.
The knots we make in friendship, we know will not untie.
The bonds we form in hatred, with our kin alike,
make us even stronger for the next day's fight.
What we learn from past mistakes helps us for today,
and helps to shape our future and for that we pray.
In religion we find strength, with the strength we fight.
All the battles, all the wars of our daily life.
And through the battles that we face one thing remains true.
Behind love is the truth, something that is due.
For in the world we live today, something is amiss,
the love we shared in yesteryear's was gone with just one kiss.
So remember years ago on that moonlit night,
the night we met, the night we kissed under the moonlight.
