I stare off into the distance, watching the world desolve around me. Nothing exists anymore, not in my mind.
I feel numb to even hatred now, to annoyance.
There is one emotion that will not leave me so long as she is around.
But that doesn't fix the fact that I can only see through the eyes of a dream.
I don't understand this need, the one that makes me imagine myself breaking and damaging people.
I remember the sound of gargling in their own blood. I've heard it once before outside of my imagination.
I remember the smell of burning flesh, once again, I've witnessed it once before.
As I pass the mirror, I always inspect my eyes, to understand why I have never seen anything other than this dream. To see if they are still human.
I see the world for what it really is, but it seems so terrible it can't be real.
Perhaps I have some fears that even I do not know about...
