When I was little, I used to love to swim... If you would call it swimming. It was more like just being in the water because I wasn't a great swimmer. Although, underwater I could be a reasonably decent swimmer.
I used to love going to pools and beaches so much that some family members would call me a fish. Which is kinda funny because at times, I wished I was a fish.
But not because of swimming and being in the water. Through my eyes, it seemed like the closest thing to being able to fly. Ironic, though, seeing how the sky and ocean are pretty much complete opposites.
Why didn't I wish to be a bird instead? ...I don't really know. I guess it's because water was closer than the sky. A lot of people wish they were birds... But they're always on the ground. At least with water you can close your eyes and go into a world that only exists with you.
I don't like swimming now. I never learned how to swim any better than I used to. The water kinda scares me now...a little. But I'd still like to fly, even if it was a fish in water. My thoughts and sights haven't changed.
