The tears falling from her eyes were the same as the rain drops falling from the sky above. How could this be? The promises made, the plans they had spoken of.....was it all to come to this end? So soon? A cry of sorrow from deep within her heart ripped through her chest and she collapsed on the ground, her body shaking as she sobbed. Her hands clutched at his; the warm hand that had held her was warm no more. All she felt was the coldness of the rain and the broken glass around them.
