You know I thought
After the lesson I was taught
That this time would be easy
My stomach wouldn’t get so queasy
That I would spill it all
Let all my walls fall
That when you rejected me
It would be easier to see
The light at the end
Just calling you my friend
That the pain wouldn’t be so bad
Or I wouldn’t be so mad
That I would take control
Not sink further into my hole
That maybe id have some left
The dignity I could have kept
That I wouldn’t care
About the life we wouldn’t share
But I was wrong
I guess I’m not that strong
