With animal eyes, and a nose to match,
Her face is nothing, if not a mask.
It portrays the fury, the pain, and hatred,
But all of this is all outdated.
She's removed this mask,
Replaced it with a smile,
Replaced it with gentle,
Dark brown eyes.
Replaced it with healing,
With confidence, and believing.
Her heart is kind,
Her intentions pure,
She's found a way to cope,
To endure.
The fury, the pain, and all of the hatred,
Are very, horribly, sorely, overrated.
For who would wish, for such a thing,
To be filled with endless, bottomless rage?
So she's taken the task,
She's whipped it back,
That viscous, horrid,
Animal Mask.

My love has concrete feet, my love's an iron bar, wrapped around your ankles over the waterfall....I'm so Heavy...[/b:c8bc61b7c5]"
