I can't do that my heart is already stone

When you put these chains around my neck
Holding me to this land like a prisoner
But, what have I done wrong?
Why do you have to choose for me?
Must this be my fate?
I can only go as far as my chain allows
What a cruel fate you have chosen for your flesh
Wear away my will
They devour my flesh and break my bones
You say it is a necessary evil
And it will make me stronger
Only to laugh at me when I fall
After you tell me it will only be painful for a little while
