Saturday, June 19:
Steph and I went to my Dad's house for the weekend, to celebrate Father's Day with him. My four brothers were happy to see me, and they welcomed me with their usual jumping, kicking, and throwing things. The oldest brother, Daniel, had a emotional meltdown when we chose not to watch his favorite movie, Star Wars.

Sunday, June 20:
We stayed at my Dad's house until noon, then drove around for hours and went to my grandparent's house to celebrate Father's Day and stay the week. My cousins Rex and Sam came over too, and we watched Igor. Sam really liked it. Rex made fun of homeless people.

Monday, June 21:
My aunt calls, and invites Steph and I to hang at our cousin Rex's house. We go to see The Karate Kid, and then we mindlessly play on Rex's XBox, playing games like Red Dead Redemption, Halo 3, and FEAR 2. We sleep over.

Tueday, June 22:
My cousin Sam has a temper tantrum when told he can't have soup because we're going out to eat. Once at the resturaunt, he complains that he doesn't want any soup there because he doesn't like soup.

Wednesday, June 23:
After three days at my cousin's, we eat dinner and then go back to my grandparents to continue the rest of the week there. We run into Georgia, the dog who's lived in the house next door to my grandparents since back when we lived there too, and notice just how much the years have changed her. She now has grey hairs and walks with a limp because of a permanently broken leg. Seeing her like this made me sad, and it made Steph cry.

Thursday, June 24:
We go to eat Chinese and I see an incredibly cute worker there. We go shopping and visit GameStop, Shenanigans Toys, Claire's, and Books-a-Million. Steph finds a Mad Hatter hat and I try to buy it for her. My Garndma won't let me, and instead pays for it herself.

Friday, June 25:
Today is supposed to be the last full day at my grandparent's house, and we are supposed to come home the next morning. Once again we are forced to go shopping, as my Grandma feels I need to get myself something. Instead, I rent a movie. It gets late, and Steph and I are happy to finally be getting home the next morning.

Saturday, June 26:
My mom comes down with a terrible fever, and my grandparents decide to keep us another day in case it is contagious. We spend the entire day shopping in a hot antique store. We're both really upset and homesick. I for one know that tomorrow will be spent driving, and then I'll be heading over to Sara's house, which I honestly can't wait for. It's just sad to know that after tomorrow, I will have spent no time at home for nine days.
