This confuses me. I want to cosplay as Moira, I know how I'd do it, and it's all available to me really, but, I was reading the legal details and such, and I found that it said that all "entrants" had to be of their respective "Age of majority", and so, honestly, not knowing what that ment, I looked it up, and found that is is the age of which you are considered an adult, and that No state in the US has an "Age of Majority" under 18. So, I don't think I can enter, and that thuroughly dissapoints me... It doesn't make sense that Gaia would hold a contest that excludes the Majority of it's users.. And the general rules on the Submission page say that the contest is open to ALL users... so this confuses me further. They Have had contests and things before that said straight forward, that you had to be 18 or older, right there, inplain view, on the rules, on the page to enter... But here, they don't really... So I was wondering if Perhaps it was more like a disclaimer, in case of the event that something comes up, someone under age submits something taboo, or someone causes a scene because they didn't win, ect. You know, a Just in case sort of thing? It would make more sense that way. So, I figure, I'll do the costume, for several reasons:
1.) It would be fun.
2.) It'll get me up off my a** and doing something, 'cus being here at my aunts house has left me with little to do.
3.) If I enter, who knows, there could be a small chance of me winning. 4.) IF I were to win, somehow someway, but my age was still a problem, I'm sure I could get parental consent to release my photo(s) for advertising, and fill out all the paperwork necessary. Like I said, I have free time.
5.) Even If I don't win, it's a cosplay costume that will give me a little more expierience before I start my other, harder, and more serious costumes.
6.) If I don't win I can still show my costume off at Sakura Con.
7.) I like the Character Moira. She's cool, I've always liked her best.
8.) I can show people Pic's of my costume, and get good pointers that could potentially help me out with other costumes.

So, in short, I'm gonna try anyways, and give it all I can...Cosplay here I come...
