I had one of the most amazing years of my life. And to think, I just started high school! I can't WAIT to see what sophomore year'll bring <3
I can't wait for color guard camp (as weird as that sounds) to start in july-ish. Could wait for band camp. Not so great experience with that one there.. BUT HEY! I get to help teach the freshmen flag-related ish biggrin
~Dear sophomore year, YOU WILL BE BEASTLY. Got that? (lol i can't believe i just said that) You will bring great joy to my friend Malissa, for she will be a senior. Sarah and Stephanie and Sam will have an amazing year too. And so will all the other now-juniors like Farah and Becca and Alexis and Jess and Holly and Small Child Nicole. You will continue then to bring joy to the now-graduated color guardos Hailey and Christen and Big Nicole. You will bring much joy to the now-sophomores Nikki and Amber and myself. And can't forget all the new little freshmen :3
And just because there'll be 20 or more of us doesn't mean there should be drama. PLEASE, for my sanity, let everyone LEAVE their drama outside of color guard. Thank you.
And PLEASE, let me make rifle line. Also, please let the freshmen CARE about winning. Show them how amazing it feels to be first. Please. We can't tell them and they probably only know what it's like to have an individual victory. Let them taste the insand EPICNESS that is getting first place with a team, and celebrating with them. Show them how much fun it can be to go to Denny's at 1 in the morning. THANK YOU.
