I got to school late today and my 1st period teacher got mad at me. I hate it when that happens.
I did some new poetry:
A FRIEND
Life is just not simple enough for this,
A stranger comes and goes,
Trying to make life better for you.
You ask him why he does this,
His simple answer is suprising,
"I just want to see you smile again."
A strange answer indeed,
You mull over again and again.
Spring turns to Summer
Summer turns to Autumn,
Autumn turns to Winter,
Suddenly he is everything to you,
And when he asks to leave you,
It's all you can do to let him go.
"Wait," you say as he starts to turn away,
"I never heard your name."
"Just call me a friend."
He smiles and turns to walk away.
A friend has come and gone,
A friend who has made you happy.
And still, you wonder,
Who was this mysterious stranger?
