Hrm, here comes yet another sleep-related subject from me.
Mkay so, muffy was a cat of mine a few years back. When I still lived with my family. For the last five years of her rather lengthy life, she clung to me in that house.
Well, one trait in particular of hers was sleeping at my feet. If I slept facing one side of the bed, i'd have to sleep with my leg folded underneath me, the other straight, because that's where muffy layed. And when i'd wake up, I wouldn't stretch my leg out - as instinct, learned behavior - because then i'd knock her off the bed.
Well, like I said, she hasn't been around me for a good while now. But still tonight when I woke up, I half-dazed carefully prodded with my foot around that corner of the bed expecting to bump into a tiny sleeping kitty.
