The first Alice, brave and tall, a woman of the Spade
Sword in hand through Wonderland she carved a path of red
Whether strange or beautiful, she killed them all the same
Only looking towards the road she followed to the end.
That Alice was led deep into the woods
Locked within a forest gate, never to be seen again
Though she cried and struggled, there was no way to escape
Lost inside the path she followed, thus was her fate
Second Alice, man of diamond, fairly tame and kind
Sang a song in Wonderland for everyone to hear
The sound was strange and beautiful, his voice rang near and far
Drove them all to madness as he laughed and sang some more.
That Alice was shot right between the eyes
Bullet from a madman put a sorry end to his life
A single rose bloomed from the wound, its petals bloody red
Smiling softly even as he breathed his final breath
The third Alice, child of Clover, fairest of them all
A pretty face in wonderland, like never seen before
Her gaze was strange and beautiful, it captured many hearts
A kingdom rose around her feet, a tribute to her charm
That Alice was made Queen of this country
Turned her back upon the dream to rule it ruthlessly
The dream turned her mirror to a trick of the mind
She saw herself rot away before her very eyes.
Two children ran to the woods one fine summer day
Tea beneath the rosebushes, they went out to play
An invitation from the castle by the Queen herself
Their trump card was the Ace of Hearts
The fourth Alice was a pair of twins still young in years
Stumbled into Wonderland one sunny morning fair
Through strange doors and past strange things they marveled at the sights
Curiosity their strength, they wandered further in
A stubborn older sister
A cunning little brother
They strayed too close to first Alice
At the far end of the world...
The dream had taken hold of them, their path forever lost
Trapped within their Wonderland, they never would wake up.
