An apple and, well maybe not an orange, but a tangerine.
That’s what people are like,
Fruit.
Like bananas or limes.
Sweet or Sour,
Bitter or Tangy.
The same, but completely different.
And fruit, like people, need
each other.
An apple for my tangerine.
An apple to hold,
Maybe when I grew some less awkward vines.
An apple who will ask,

“Wanna see ‘I love Juicy’?
Or rent ‘The Blenders’?”

An apple for my tangerine.
Or how about a lemon instead?
I know my life could use some
ZING!
And fruit, like people,
should choose wisely.

Never know what crazy combination
you’ll get yourself mixed up in.

All I know is
I need an apple
for my TANGERINE.
