Besides the fact that its cold and wind, and rainy a lot of good things happen in the month of February. For instance, my mum files her taxes and gets da moneys and we go everywhere and have all kinds of adventures. 3nodding Plus the dreaded VALENTINES DAY!
Although I've been single for a long time, I don't actually hate it. Sure I see those damn couples being all sweet and mushy and love-love-love together. And yes it does sometimes make me wish that I had someone to be with. But that's life and I've accepted the fact that I may be single for the rest of my life. Not becuase I'm ugly, cause well, I'm not. Not because I'm a hoe, stupid, or any of those kinds of reasons because I'm the farthest you can get from that sort of thing.
I simply think that I have high expectations for myself and whomever I decide to open myself to. I'm looking for more of a partner and a friend who'll be there for me and whom I can be there for. Ya know? Equals. But I also want someone who gets me and has some of the same interests and stuff like that. I want someone I can have a good debate with, someone I can talk to and will listen and offer suggestions without so much as judging me.
eek Okay, enough of that! Back to joyous February.
