I'm currently away from my home with the Wayfarers, styaing over for a few days with my friend Molly. She invited me to join her family in some holiday feast, a day of thanks giving I think. She rambled on in quite an agitated fashion about the history of the holiday, about religous pilgims and American natives and a lot of food and blood shed. I must admit, it didn't make all that much sense. The pilgrims were saved by the Americans, only to turn around and slaughter them all later? People think my world has problems, which it does, but I've never heard of someting like that where I come from.

In any case, apparently we're not actually going to feast on the specified date of the holiday. As I understand it, a few of the invitees are going to their own family affairs today, and then we'll all eat our turkey together tommorow. Today we're makeing all the pies and breads and such things that can keep overnight. I tried to convince Molly that we should hold the feast at the Wayfarers, since there would be no need to cook, we could just take it all out fo the fridge when we were ready. She quite firmly refused though, insisting that cooking is half the fun of Thanksgiving, and that she doubted that she could drag all the guests into the extra-planer demension where the Headquarters are. Oh well, I've not been asked to cook the turkey, so I'll leave them to do it their way.
