Lucas's grip on Elora doesn't lighten a bit. He gently lays her on her back on the bed him on all fours and looking down at her with his sky blue eyes. She unblinkingly moves her shaky hand up to his head and runs her numb fingers through his chocolate brown curls. He leans in and gives her a peck, then pulls back and looks at her with a soft, warm smile. He lays over on his side and wraps his arms around her and nuzzles against her neck. Elora's heart thumped rapidly, and she got goose bumps from his warm breath hitting her collar bone, but she remained as she was. After a bit she actually got comfy and they both ended up asleep in each others arms.
