This month's Donation Items are the Ice Gauntlet and the BTK (Bit Too Kewl) Hat.
   
Overall, the versitility of each item is rather nice, but the one to get would definately be the Ice Gauntlet. Much like the last hand item last month, you can equip two of these at the same time to give you a unique look. I like the fact it comes in three different modes. The Blade mode is my personal favorite.
Now for the individual critique.
The BTK hat is a nice substitute for those of us questing for an AFK (A Furry Kewt) hat, but is probably better than the original for one reason. Mask mode! You can weark this item as a traditional Gaia Genki Hat or pull it a bit farther down to cover up your eyes like a mask! The odd thing about this mode is that it reminds me heavily of those knights from .hack// (you know, with their helmets covering all but their mouth and all that). It is a good addition to anyone that wears white as well as for people that like to cover up more than just their heads.
The Ice Gauntlet is the second (well, third) item that utilizes the new Avatar Posing System, and in a big way! Depending on how you're posed, the gauntlet will change modes. The three modes are normal fist mode, Ice Claw mode, and Blade mode. The only downside is that each of these modes can only be shown depending on how you are positioned. You cannot go into blade mode with your hands at your side, and you cannot go into claw mode with your arms extended forward. As a plus, however, if you equip one on the left hand and one on the right hand, you can use it in every one of the different arm positions. That is why most people are stocking up on two gauntlets, which I recommend for those of you out there that want to look like a frozen version of a certain X-men. This is definately a step up from the rods of last month, which unequip themselves once they are put into a position that they are not compatable with. Even by itself, the gauntlet looks really awsome and screams "powerful ledgendary item of mythic proportions."
As stated before, go get yourself a pair of Ice Gauntlets, as they are the better choice. If you don't like the whole "weapons" idea, then go get yourself a BTK hat and stop questing for the AFK out there in the market as it is better and more versital. Or, if you are rich enough, get all of them! It's well worth it as of right now.
