Memento Mori

I am busy as ever behind the curtain; I really, really love making lists and plans and thinking about all the little things I can do that will add up to something nice. I really need to lay off stuff like this because I am, very sadly, the type that gets tangled up in all the details, but I do so love Gaia and it is my microcosm. I feel if I can get things on here under control then I can do the same with the other parts of my life.

With that in mind, I am going to spend the rest of tonight working on getting my Gaia files updated and back in some rational order. I backed them up on the first but never got around to doing the overhaul on them that I had intended; tonight I am going to focus on getting them back in some semblance of control and then work on PMs and emails.

Updates on how I am doing to follow.

To those of you who have waited so long and so patiently, I am sorry it takes me so damned long to get replies back to you. It is nothing personal, life just gets in the way.

~ As of 12:51 AM, January 12th, 2010, I have only nine PMs to answer and fifty-two messages sitting in my Drafts email folder. Most of those are links and notes I have saved for various reasons but two of them are important and actually require replies.

I have at least...five or six PMs to send out that are new so all in all I am looking at fifteen PMs and two emails to send out.

Not shabby. I could have this done in a few hours.

First I need to work on the total ******** my desk/area/floor around the desk has become. I have let about two month's worth of notes and lists and papers just pile up and up and now it is so distracting that it HAS to be done and gotten squared away before I can move on to other things.

I am going to deal with these things first and may end up crashing for the night after doing so. If I do end up crashing (and it looks like I might just end up doing so) then I will be on Gaia first thing in the morning working on my PMs and emails. I am laying off the caffeine- that is a story for another day- and because of that I am sleeping more. The upside is that my thinking is a lot more clearer so that when I am awake I can actually concentrate on one thing. Or as close to one thing as it is possible for me to concentrate on. sweatdrop

But. *Claps hands and puts on her Working Cap* First the notes and lists and all this other stuff and various projects I have piled around/on my desk. Then some sleep.

But first I am going to work on something special. ninja heart

I guess I should say that first I am going to work on my Special Something, then deal with the stuff around my desk. xD My heart is in the right place but my head is out there with the stars.
