where all they had was time
they protested to the hate
they stood against war
but believe me when I say it
it all was done before
those hippies may as well have shot
a bullet to those brains
because those men who all came back
those were just the remains
they left their lives and honor
they sought to bring us proof
and what did those hippies do?
they tarnished it with their youth
those talks of love and peace
those things were just a lie
it wasn't the war over there that killed them
it was the hippies who told them to die
