Malon dropped her arms to her side and answered back in response to link's reaction. "Navi is dead." She stated clearly, however, tried holding back true emotions, either way it was frightening. No woman should die the way she did.
The only thing that came out from Link's lips was a small gasp, soft and a fragile meaning to it. . "No. . ." he replied, boldly, eyes full of no life or emotion. All it seemed were darkness and hallucinations. Link rushed up the stair case and passed Malon and opened the door, to find Navi laying in bed, motionless with the baby rested in a small cradle, crying. Malon snapped back in reality and followed Link, standing at the door and watched as the hero of time rush to the girl's side, holding her hand tightly, tears running through his eyes.
There was one person the hero of time couldn't protect, and that was Navi.
All of this was shutting him down, he was feeling lost, emotionless and without reason.
