Thunder clapped, and lighting flashed the whole world around her to a bright glare then faded back to the dark gloom. Stopping and putting her elbows on the rails of the bridge . Then letting her head fall as though her neck had given out. She stood there staring into the river that passed under her feet. Then dropped a rose into the hungry depths of the river. As though the gods felt her pain, the sky opened up and it began to rain. Even as the frosty rain soaked her to the bone, she didn't move she just looked into the river, and allowed all sorrow to swallow her whole.
