You know about nicknames, they can be totally unrelated to your real name and people will still recognize it as being yours. I have a friend who calls me Maggie Mcwiskers. The last name is easy because my normal nickname is Cat but as for the first name I don't quite get because he says he calls me that because it's a good Scottish but I'm not Scottish, he is.
It's fairly easy to get a nickname, for me my normal one is just a short form of my real name, but you can also get one by how you act, what you do, where you're from, etc. The list of ways is almost endless. It's hard to start it yourself, usually a friend thinks of one for you. If they're a good friend your nickname will be totally skwd, if someone else starts it then the results will vary depending.
So that's my blab on nicknames. wink
