That brilliant color of crystal blue
looked at me,
Smiling almost.
I looked back
hoping,
wishing
And your eyes did whisper
"Til death do us part,
Forever and evermore."
I saw it
I felt it
Something was undefined
Your heart was shadowed
Broken
Hurt
I tried my best to nurse it back
It worked for the time being
I thought I could change you
How could I be wrong?
How could I be so wrong?
You helped me
When you could
Then
just when you felt like it
When my tears fell,
You caught them
Then
only when you wanted to.
How could I be wrong?
So wrong?
Your eyes
Their shine has dulled
No longer did they whisper to me
No longer did your heart accept me
You no longer needed me
But I needed you
I needed you so much

You turned
and left
Now as I look back,
