Well mine does, it's always been that way with the two main holidays of the year. Halloween and Christmas.
Since Halloween is nearer this time around, I'm gonna tell you about that one first. Chistmas can wait until right before Christmas. ^^
Anywhoo, back on the ranch.
Usually what we do for halloween is the week of or the friday of the week before, we go out together and find a really kick butt looking pumpkin.
After gutting the poor thing, we proceed to then carve it's brains out until it looks neat. Then we put a candle in it and place it outside. Pretty ordinary, right?
Well this next one is a bit different!
For our candy we start simple. Going out together, we all pick out a candy we want to put in for that year. And once we've got all of it, we get these really neat paper bags.
After getting home, we divide up the candy, so that each of us has at least one bag to ourselves. Then after opening the paper bags, we have someone start the line.
They put in one candy and it continues that way until it reaches the final person. Who puts their candy in and then staples the bag. We put all the little treat bags in a giant couldron and then we're ready for Halloween!!
It's rather simple and easy to do, but still, after doing it every year of my life. I love doing this! It's our family tradition! =^..^=
