am i going to have to sit by
and wait for you.

do i have to wonder what you're doing
that makes you too busy to talk to me.
last night,
i sat and watched paint dry.
and then i painted the wall again
just to watch it dry, once more.
consider this your last warning
cause my heart cant handle much more.
it seems that whenever i get one thing,
something else disappears.
i can see the smile on your face
but i never hear your voice anymore.
