Moonlit awoke with a start as soon as the sun threatened to stream through her bedroom window; the wolf rolls and lands out of bed on her feet and goes to get ready. She glances in the mirror and notices that her hair was in disarray and fixes it quickly, the flowing strands down her back. The woman stifles a yawn, puts on blue and white hanfu, and stumbles out her house, locking it up behind her.
As soon as she hits the snow with lacquered zori on her feet, Moonlit transform from a woman to a wolf and runs to the academy, shredding frost as he does so. I do hope that some of the teachers are alright, it would be wrong for the Head Mistress to not care. She thought, finding that nobody sent her any messages this morning.
The sun was beginning to paint the sky a sherbet mix of colors when she finally reached the school and the first person she sees is an old-time friend.
