I don't know what my inspiration for some of these came from, but here they are anyways.
Interpret them as you wish.

~Sonnet #1

Not a day goes by without the dream,
hopes, wishes of a world unseen,
they sparkle with a silver gleam,
naught but time doth mar her sheen.

Her heart is small and rather lean,
but warm and rich and pure,
a wall of words sharp and mean,
with a soft, enticing lure.

Dreams pulse, strong and sure,
though the road may wind,
magic's a curse with no cure,
a soft centre, and bitter rind.

Of all the stars in the sky,
by her hand my heart may die.


~Sonnet #2

Do you remember the words,
to that old, forgotten song?
Memories take the wings of birds,
melodies getting lost in the throng.

Her I sing, all alone,
my hollow voice ringing clear,
I hear no voice but my own,
as the end draws near.

It kept a slow pace,
the song that once was,
with trills like frills of lace,
weaving and dancing as it does.

The melody echoes without being heard,
Not a soul, and naught a word.
