This kind of crazy needs as much focus as it can get. xD
This and this entry had two really great lists that I have stolen and updated for this posting. My plan now is to prepare to update my Gaia Notebook on the first of October because it's been months since I updated it and some of the stuff actually got done!

Since that list is so outdated and there's other stuff I want to work on now, I wanted to put up a really rough draft in here so that when I sit down to get the new list worked up I have a reference.
The following list is broken down mostly from previous lists and entries. I have modified it to fit what I am currently working on. To see the full list please refer to the links provided above; for the sake of simplicity I have narrowed down specifically what I want to work on the most, what still needs to be done, what has a hope of being done, etc.
Ongoing Projects:
* Keep on top of PMs.
- As of 5:13 PM today I have exactly six PMs sitting in my Inbox. For me, that is above and beyond fantastic. sweatdrop
* Save all profile comments to current and then answer what can be answered.
* Need to talk with certain people about Red; you know who you are. ninja I think if it is okay with him, I will make that a priority of our next walk-and-talk. Goodness knows I do not want to do much more with Red before this very important step is taken because...well, just because. Red means a lot to me for a lot of different reasons; it has been in stasis but the reboot it has coming to it...it's just another of those things like what I mentioned yesterday- what a long, strange, surreal trip down the rabbit hole.
* Get and keep inventory in order.
* Update my own personal filing/archiving.
* Email. @.@ My goodness, what a monster I have let that thing become! gonk
- As of this posting (5:34 PM, September 29, 2009):
Emails- 6,250 messages total- 138.0 MB in size spread out over seventeen different folders. In particular, 22 emails in my current Inbox, 46 Drafts still waiting to be deleted, finished, or just sent since I have some stuff in there that just needs to be addressed. I find stuff all the time I want to send to certain people but then I just let sit there until A Perfect Time. >.< I really have to stop doing that.
There are 3,370 messages in the Read Through folder; AKA the folder I dump all the stuff that does not need reading right away- like blog alerts or all the rando-newsletters I get. All the impersonal stuff, I guess you could say. RP posts or stuff sent to me by friends gets put into Drafts so I know it will not be buried or forgotten.
So that's my number count and bare-bones reference list as of this posting. That is what I am going to devote the rest of my night to- getting emails and PMs squared away and getting ready for the October back-up. I have a LOT of stuff I want to back up this time around that I did not save last time and want to be ready to update my Gaia Notebook.
Then there are the advanced projects that will take at least a day each to get each individual done, and that is if I really apply myself. Those things include my new profile finished, coded, and ready to go, all the backing up I want to do (from RPs, this journal, profile comments), Memento Mori overhaul (just a little project I wanted to do), all the odds and ends I wanted to do for certain guilds...and then all the very-advanced-probably-will-never-happen stuff, like an art contest thread and getting to play zOMG. I really did want to get to play it but I do not see it happening anytime soon. Maybe and only maybe when and if I have more time...but right now, the way things are, there just is not any. There are days now where I have to play the game of Pick Sleep Or Fill-In-The-Blank and now I have gotten to a point where things have suffered badly because of that. I have to put being able to do my job first because without that I would not have Gaia to even make a bleep on my What To Worry About Today radar.
This is just Gaia-related matters. I have other stuff I want to work on- work-related stuff, giving my apartment a thorough going-over and overhaul, personal matters. Changes I want to make, implement this month for reasons of my own.
Plus other stuff!
I like keeping busy on my little pet-projects. It makes me happy when, at the end of my day, I can look back and think that I actually accomplished something.
And that little fact right there explains 98% of my behavior.
I have a lot of hope for October. heart I feel good about it. There are lots of things planned and important days coming up (YAY! The Shenanigan Crew have another con coming up to go to! That is one thing I am really looking forward to. heart ); plus, it is a new beginning.
And I am all about new beginnings.
