Talk about a wake up call. After my mother so graciously woke me up this morning at 7:30 am, I waited till 8:30am to go back to sleep. Upon waking to the phone ringing, I answered. talking to my mother, I set my right foot on the ground. Feeling something fluffy under my foot, I looked down to see the heating pad, and on top of it was a giant garden spider. Screaming in my mother's ear, I pulled my foot back up. Mother asked what was wrong, and I explained about the huge spider. Telling m to kill it, and where she was, we hung up quickly. I slid to the end of my bed, and climbed out. putting on my shoes, I ran into the living room to se if anyone else was up. finding no one, I stalked back into my bedroom. apologizing to the spider, I raised my foot, and rapidly stomped the spider into oblivion. cleaning the mess, I walked back out, my heart beating out of my chest, and walked the dog. Letting him back in, I woke my little sister and told her of my adventure with the spider. Needless to say, I didn't get a pleasant wake up call.
