Chapter 6
After dinner, everyone went to their rooms. Sora, of course, couldnt sleep because he couldnt help but wonder about Rei. He went up to her door and knocked. "What." she answered. Sora came in and closed the door. Rei was reading. "What's your story." Sora said. "I knew you would come around Sora..." Rei said setting down her book. "You see Sora, I used to be a dark spirit. I was almost the best dark spirit of the underworld you know. I was so good i almost over threw the greatest evil spirit of all time, Ahriman. They told me the best spirit couldnt be a female, so they ended my days of causing people torment. They said my soul would wander the worlds once they banished me." She stood up and slowly walked toward Sora. "But God gave me another chance. He said that if I helped you, that I would be able to have a human body, and not wander the worlds for an eternity." She stood in front of him. Soras eyes were wide with amazement. "God said if I succeed in defeating the demons, he'll let me hang in heaven for a while. So he reincarnated my soul and sent me to the underworld as and angel to rescue you. And thats when we met." She said leaning in on him. They stared at each other. "Excuse me.." Sora said rushing out the door into his room. Rei wasnt surprised by his reaction. She sat back down on her bed and began to read the book again. She took a quick glance at the spirit ring on her finger. "How long do I have to do this?" she thought to herself.Sora was in his room. he couldnt concentrate on anything. Just Rei's story. He kept repeating the words reincarnation, and soul, evil spirit and....Ahriman. He turned out his light and tried to fall asleep. Suddenly, his door opened. It was Miyoko. "Miyko?" Sora said. "Sora...your still awake..." "Im sorry for passing out on you today....." she told him. "Miyoko....Im just happy your ok." Miyoko went up and hugged Sora. "You did a good job of protecting your family today." Miyoko told him. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and left the room to go to bed. Sora was surprised. He knew he had more important things to think about. His family. heart
