I started 8th grade today and usually a first day in Middle School goes like this:
Advisory- get agenda
1st per.-sit down and listen to the teacher explain how things work in his/her class
2nd per.-sit down and listen to the teacher explain how things work in his/her class
3rd per.-sit down and listen to the teacher explain how things work in his/her class
4th per.-sit down and listen to the teacher explain how things work in his/her class
5th per.-sit down and listen to the teacher explain how things work in his/her class
LUNCH (what time lunch starts depends on what grade you are in)
6th per.-sit down and listen to the teacher explain how things work in his/her class
7th.-sit down and listen to the teacher explain how things work in his/her class
8th.-sit down and listen to the teacher explain how things work in his/her class
Well, today was different from most first days (I would know I've been going to that school three years), First period I had to copy down definitions and write down a bunch of junk, then I had to go home and write an essay on my summer vacation that is due Friday. I'm exhausted!!! I know this doesn't sound like alot but when you have to listen to 7 teachers lecture you about the school handbook 7 times in one day you get pretty beat up. stare
