Is this just a game?
Do you know my name?
I sit outside your door
Waiting for you evermore
All you ever do is hide
But I always stay up all night
Because I want to hold you so close and so tight
Hmm something strange happened tonight
I think I heard a terrible fight
So I decided to go inside
I looked around
Up and down
Over and Under
and around everycorner
But I didn't see you
I thought to myself, " Surely it's another game.
"
But sitting out in the open plain
I soon screamed and cursed in vain
at what I had found was you
All messed up and over threw
I was so upset
I noticed you were soak and wet
But when I asked what was wrong
You sang an awkward song
About why you always hid
and what happened to the kid
Who everyone never knew
and it was all because of you.
