The deadline is down
The clock has broken
The world’s eyes are closed
And sleeping
.Tick. .Tock.

And someone promised
There was no tick tock left
In that old clock
But with an ear pressed against its reverberating body
The noises are echoing
A deep labyrinth of muffled voices

It never stops screaming
A time bomb beating heart
Beats faster still
Waiting to exterminate

Nervous hands
Reach out
But they never touch that sky

Will it ever wake up?
The enchantment of time is fading
Life is changing

Will no one stop,
To hold this hand?
Ignorant faces will regret
When this little hand
Holds that corpse

And someone made a promise
Someone wanted to help
Liar
Rushed off their feet
With those damaged words

But it just ended
Time finally fell apart
So now it’s silent

Nervous hands reach out
