I look back to the days when we were all happy
Nobody was fighting
Everything seemed just that easy
And all the times you made mom happy
I'll never forget that day
When you brought her roses
On Valentines Day
You went to a movie
And everything was okay
And I compare that to this day
And this is what i have to say:

What happened to you, Dad?
You're wearing Mommy out
You're goin' on about something that no one cares about
You're scaring us Dad
You stay out late with another lady
While Mom's at home taking care of your babies
Drinking until you go past
That point where you reget those words that you said last
Getting violent and angry
Arguing with Mom about little things that don't matter
I still don't know why you're so mad at her
Help her, Dad
She needs you now
Crying so hard over the things you told her

Stop fighting
There's no use in trying
You've gone too far this time
And you know it
You're not a loving husband anymore
You realize that
You say you'll divorce because Mom's fat
Well it doesn't matter to me
We'll just leave it at that
It's all about appearance for you
You forgot about the things that really matter
Like your love
