When the kitten purrs for attention,
Nobody listens.
When the kitten cries for help,
Nobody listens.
When the kitten yelps to its enemy,
Nobody listens.
When the kitten meows the voice of death,
Nobody listens.
When the kitten is painfully silent,
Nobody listens.
When the kitten visits them in a ghostly spirit,
Nobody listens.
When the kitten takes revenge on them,
Nobody listens.
When that same nobody needs help,
They really wish they had listened.
