I stand in front of mirrors,
All different yet all the same.
They are me,
But different sides of me
And I stand before them to choose
Which face to wear today.

The first one I always see-
The one I wear the most-
Is a simple girl,
She doesn't get stressed over much,
Her arms reach out to help people
Because she tosses herself aside for them.

But I don't feel like being her today,
So I move on.
And I glance over more faces,
But I'm not sure which one to choose today.

I slowly turn behind me
To a face I hardly ever wear,
Hardly ever look at.
I don't know why I still have it,
But I do.

She's laying on the floor,
Leaning against the other side of the mirror.
Dead faced,
Tears soaking her cheeks,
She stares into space
Drowning in pain.

My eyes tighten at the sight her,
I don't wanna be weak like that.
"Take me, not her..."
One of the voices whispers behind me,
One I know well,
But not worn often.

I pause one more moment,
The tips of my fingers
Falling down the smooth glass of the mirror,
Her face remains dead,
She knows
Im only acknowledging that she exists.

I turn around to the voice that had spoken to me,
She's eager,
Knowing I will choose her today-
They are me, afterall-
She's a "kick @ss" type of girl,
One that won't take cr@p from NOBODY.
One that dances to "Riot" by Three Days Grace.

I place my hand flat against the glass,
Her hand matching mine on the other side.

I am her for today.

Tomarrow,
Who knows who I'll be.
