Chapter 1
"Mai!" they all called. Mai was nowhere to be found. They searched all around Tokyo, until it was time to go get Icha. "We'll come back and look again ok Miyoko?" Usagi promised her. "Ok...."Miyoko told her. "Im going to go check on Yuki." Sora told her and flew off. "Im going go help...." Usagi said and flew off with Sora. It was up to Miyoko to go get Icha, so she flew off toward the daycare center. When she got there, Icha was waiting. Miyoko and Icha walked home, while Icha told Miyoko about her day. When they got home the house was still. No one was home yet, but her and Icha would be ok. "Why dont you go get changed out of your school clothes into something more comfortable, and we'll watch a movie." Miyoko told her daughter. "Ok!" Icha yelled as she ran back to her room. MIyoko put the movie in and sat down on the couch to wait for Icha. Suddenly, MIyoko saw a reflection in the TV. It was...Mai? "Mai! Where were you!?" Miyoko screamed. Mai's head was down. "Mai! I know your mad at me, but your mom is worried about you, you should call her and tell her your ok..." Mai looked up at Miyoko. Her eyes looked like cat eyes. Mai lunged at Miyoko and put her arms around her neck. "Let go Mai!" Miyoko screamed. "Mommy!" Icha ran out of her room into the family room. Icha ran up and began to hit Mai. "Let go Mai-san!" she yelled. Mai pushed Icha unto the floor with Miyoko still in her grasp. The hatred in Mai's heart was strong for Miyoko. It was controlling Mai..and Miyoko didnt know how to stop it. "I know what you are Miyoko.." Mai yelled. Mai's demon wings appeared on her back. "And just so you and Sora never see each other again, I'll I'll get rid of you permanently." "Mommy!" Icha cried out. "Soraaaaa!" Miyoko yelled. And right before Mai had gotten any further, Sora and Usagi burst in the door with Yuki behind them. They had all transformed and were ready to battle Mai. "Let Miyoko go!" Sora yelled. "Sora! Daddy!" Miyoko and Icha cried out. Mai knew she was out numbered, but she still had her arms tightly clenched around Miyoko's neck. "Mai...." Miyoko started. "Im your best friend...and Im sorry for what happened...you dont have to hurt anyone.." "You know you dont want to...and wheres the Mai I used to make sand castles and experiment with?" I remember when we used to look for aliens in the woods..and never found anything. "Please Mai...I know your in there...I know you can hear me.." The kind words from Miyokos heart bannished the orb from Mai and when it floated up, Yuki's blob kissed it and it turned white. Mai went back to her regular form, and both friends fell to the floor with a thud. When Mai woke up , she was in Miyoko's room. She looked next to her and saw her best friend passe out on the floor. "Im sorry too Miyoko. I didnt mean to hurt you. I never want to fight again. All I want is for you to wake up.." Miyoko slowly opened her eyes. "Im glad your ok too Mai..." Miyoko said weakly. "Miyoko!" Mai said hugging her friend. "Im so happy your ok! And who cares about some silly boy? There's always gonna be more." Miyoko looked at Mai. "Mai...I have to tell you a secret I've been keeping for a while..." "What is it Miyoko?" Mai asked. "Well.....Im an angel..." Miyoko told her. Mai sat there in astonishment. "Ahahahahahahahaha!" Mai blurted out. "That oxygen needs to get back to your head...you must've had some dream." Miyoko sat up. "Mai Im serious! And you know Im never serious unless its something....well...serious." Mai looked into MIyokos eyes. eek "Well if your an angel, then prove it!" Mai demanded. Miyoko made her wings appear and she flew around the room. "See?" Mai was quiet. "OK! Where are the wires!?" Mai was confused. :There are none Mai....Im an angel thats been chosen to defend the world from a demon named Kuro." "You mean that girl that shook my hand?" Mai asked. "Mai!? She's the one that turned you into a demon?!" Miyoko yelled. "Yeah...I guess, I just remember grabbing her hand and next thing I knew I was laying on your floor." Miyoko was furious. She knew what she had to do the next time she saw Kuro...
