Chapter 3
When Miyoko woke up in the morning, she found Sora laying next to her. She was surprised, but then she remembered what had happened last night. She got up and slipped on her kitty slippers Mai had given her for her birthday, and quietly slid open her door careful not to wake Sora. She walked into the kitchen and took out some food to make breakfast. When the delicious smell reached the other rooms of the house, Usagi and the others went down to the kitchen to check it out. "Ohayou Gozaimasu (Good Morning) everyone!" "I made ochazuke, tamago, white rice, and green tea!" Miyoko greeted as they came in. "Wow!" Whats the occasion? Usagi asked. "No occasion." Miyoko replied. "Im just happy to finally have people living with me." blaugh Everyone sat down at the large table and said "Itadaki-masu!" Then they began to eat. "What do you think Icha? Usagi?" Miyoko asked. "Its really good Mommy!" Icha replied. "Yea! I love it!" Usagi answered. "What about you Sora?"Miyoko asked. "Its ok.." Sora replied. "WAH!" scream Miyoko screamed. "Its not out of the ordinary for a woman to cook this good." "You jerk!" Miyoko called out. "What?" Im just saying." "Well you should stop saying Sora." "Just tell Miyoko her food is good." Usagi said trying to clam them both down. Icha was enjoying her tea. "Fine...your food is good, ok Miyoko." "Whatever Sora, you need to stop being so mean." "Miyoko!" Usagi yelled. "All of a sudden, there was a knock at the door. "I guess Ill get it." Miyoko assumed. "Do women get the door too Sora?" "Sora didnt answer. Miyoko opened the door and was shocked to see.....MAI!? "Mai! What are you doing here!?" Miyoko asked. "I came over because I was bored." Mai answered. "Whos there Mommy?" Icha yelled. "What was that?" Mai said, "Uhm......"Miyoko said frantically. "Stay here!" Miyoko shut the door and ran into the kitchen. "Quick!" We have to hide Sora!" "Why?" Usagi asked. "Because Mais here!" Usagi grabbed Sora and threw him in the closet. "Stay here! We cant have her find out your here." What will we do about Icha?" Usagi questioned. "Uhm....she can be my little cousin from abroad." "Can you do that Icha?" "Anything for you Mommy!" Miyoko smiled at Icha. Miyoko went back and opened the door. "Come on in Mai." Miyoko said. Mai walked in and saw Icha. "Aw! How cute is she! Who is she Miyoko?" "This is my cousin from abroad. Her name is Icha." "Well hello there Icha-chan! Im Miyokos best friend Mai-chan." Mai stated. "Pleased to meet you Mai-sama." "AHHHHHH! blaugh She called me Mai-sama!" "Shes adorable!" She pick Icha up and hugged her. "Oh!" Mai had forgot. "Hello Usagi-chan" "Hello Mai-chan." Usagi replied. "So what do you wanna do Mai?" "Can I use your computer? My mom said I had to be back home in an hour, because I have to go visit my obaasan(grandmother)." "Sure Mai." "Thanks Miyoko." Mai walked down the hallway to the room that had the computer. "Mommy, Ive seen Mai-chan in the future." Icha whispers. "Really?" Miyoko asked. "Was it anything bad?" "No.." Icha replies. "You and (Auntie)Oba-Mai are still friends in the future." "Good." Miyoko answered. Usagi finished her breakfast and put her plate in the sink. Miyoko walked down the hallway to check on Mai. "What cha doin Mai?" "Im lookin for a new advanced dance school." Mai replied. "The old one is stuff I already learned, and the school is restarting in the Summer." "Thats ehat you love to do is dance, dance, dance....ahaha." "I know!" "You should come with me!" Mai blurted out. "Well...since my cousin is living with me now, Ill have to see." "Ok Miyoko." "But you tell me what you wanna do." There was an awkward silence. "You know Miyoko, Ive been thinking lately about Sora..." Sora was in the closet listening. "What if we grow up together! And have kids or something crazy like that?" "Wouldnt that be something?" Miyoko blushed..and Sora was as quiet as a mouse,sitting in the closet surprised. "I really think hes my dream boy..."Mai chanted. "You always say that about all the boys you like Mai." Miyoko said. "But I really like him Miyoko.." "Its like Ive met him before and I know hes the one..." heart Miyoko sat down in the chair next to Mai. She knew what was going to happen in the future. She was afraid, but if she never liked Sora then she would never have a child with him and Mai could have him... But that would mean that Icha would be gone. She didnt know what to do. Meanwhile in the kitchen, Icha saw that Sora had left his plate on the table. "Daddy left his plate Usagi-chan, Im going to go give it to him." "No! Icha!" Usagi whispered. "Icha opened the closet door in the hallway and said, "Here Daddy! You forgot your food!" And dumped the food and hot tea on him. "AHHHHHH!.." he whispered. He was in pain, but he couldnt let Mai know he was there. "Would you like some breakfast Mai?" Miyoko asked politely. "No thank you Miyoko. I ate already." Mai replied. Breakfast had passed and Miyoko, Usagi and Icha began cleaning off the table. Sora was still in the closet and Mai was still on the computer. White rice was in Sora hair and going down his back. "Well thanks for letting me use your computer Miyoko." "My baka(stupid) Computer keeps breaking down..." "Anytime Mai." Mai walked out the room and saw Soras clothes in Miyokos room. "Miyoko, why are there boy clothes in your room?" "Those look like the uniforms at our school?" "Oh! Uhm....I wanted to try them on.." "For what?" Mai questioned. "Mai did you ever think of wearing pants to school? Miyoko said quickly. "No? Ok. Bye Mai!" Miyoko said as she pushed Mai out the door. Mai was outside. "Bai-Bai everyone!" Mai said waving through the window, and she started her journey home. Miyoko gasped. "Sora!" she yelled. Miyoko ran to the closet and slid open the door. "Are you ok Sora!?" "Do I look ok to you!?" he yelled. Miyoko looked down at her feet. "If your the kind of woman who will make her man stay in a closet for an hour with food all over him, then Im not sure if I want the future to happen!" Tears filled Miyokos eyes and she ran to her room, shut the door and locked it. Sora stared at her door and then relized what he said. He looked over at Icha and Usagi. Usagi looked mad and Icha had tears in her eyes. "Im going to take a shower.." he declared as he walked to the bathroom. Miyoko cried in her room. He was so mean all the time, but why? He was never mean to Usagi or Icha. He was only mad at her. And she did want the future to turn out the way it would be. Not the losing part, but the family part. Miyoko would put up with Soras bad additude if it meant Icha would still be around. All of a sudden Miyoko heard Soras voice. "Miyoko please let me in..we have to talk." "No!" Miyoko yelled. "Please!" "Im sorry, I didnt mean what I said!" "Honest!" Miyoko unlocked the door. Sora came in with a towel around his waist and his black hair was wet. "EW! GET OUT YOU PERV!" Miyoko yelled as she threw stuff at him. "WAIT! I NEED MY CLOTHES TOO!" Miyoko threw his clothes at him and pushed him out of her room. Miyoko blushed. "He had nothing on under that towel!" she thought. "What if it fell!" Her heart started pounding again. A couple minutes later, Sora was back. "Can I come in Miyoko?"he asked. "Do you have clothes on this time?" Miyoko asked him. "Yes...I do." he replied. Miyoko let him in. He shut the door and sat down on the bed. "I need to talk to you.." he started. "Im sorry about what Is aid. I didnt mean it. I do want the future to turn out that way. Not the bad stuff. I dont know what me leaving is about, but Ill make sure I wont leave..I promise I wont ever leave you and Icha alone. And I only fight with you because....because I love you Miyoko." Sora blushed. Miyoko ran up to Sora and hugged him. "We can save the future together Sora..."she whispered. At that moment, Usagi walked in. "Hey Miyoko are you o.....WOAH..bad timing....she slid the door back and walked down the hallway. Miyoko and Sora were still hugging. Then they realized...they were HUGGING! They quickly let go of each other. "Miyoko, you have to be careful, Kuro is after you to hurt you, maybe even kill you to get what she wants," he said trying to change the subject. "I know...I'll..uhm...keep an eyes on her.." Miyoko was still blushing.. Sora looked at Miyoko, "Ill protect you and Icha no matter what." Miyoko had remembered thats what she said to Icha when she said Sora left.. "And I'll protect you.." Miyoko said back. "Then Miyoko remembered...ICHA! She was crying too! "I'd better go check on Icha Sora..." Miyoko said as she ran out the room. She ran into Ichas room. "Ichas feeling better...." Usagi said. "Usagi! I love you! Your such a life saver.."Miyoko said. "Well what are flying guardian rabbits for?" Usagi replied happily. "Icha are you ok?" Miyoko asked. "Yes Mommy...I just dont like to see you and Daddy fight. The day he left you were crying a lot, and I dont want it to happen again....." Icha said with tears rolling down he cheeks. "Trust me it wont Icha.." Miyoko assured. "It will never happen Icha..." Sora said as he came in. "I'll never leave, I'll always protect you and you mother. Miyoko looked at Sora lovingly..and Icha look at Miyoko and knew everything would be ok. heart
