I don't think that anyone would have changed their opinion so quick, had J.K not announced he was indeed homo.

Does it really matter ? Most of the homophobes would claim that such great wizards ( for instance, Gandolf, Merlin, falala ) wouldn't have any type of earth/human like interests, which would clearly draw the line between wizardry missions and physical matters like sexuality.

from the article I read about this close-minded homophobic opinions:
A wizard at such great heights as Dumbledore, shouldn't be gay.
But obviously he mixes the signals he's sending just so he won't get bashed-
but basically thats what he's implying.

The article writer, himself, admitted him to be such a great wizard-
so why flame the fact he's gay ? He says just because J.K says he is,
doesn't mean we all should.

Why would the fact that being gay, change the image of such high standards Dumbledore carries?
I'm afraid to say the man who wrote the article can't grasp such a said-to-be 'feminine' like quality to be labeled on a man of such power.
