I had given up, on what I didn’t know, Life? Love? Happiness? It didn’t matter now, I was alone. I couldn’t replace that void I felt. This longing I had, for someone, anyone to love me. My mother didn’t love me, My brother took away my love, and the love I once had for him.
Life isn’t fair, not to any degree, but to me it always seemed I was the one that got that more than anyone else. That law that said, that life wasn’t fair.
What can I say?

“Midori, were are you taking me?” I was so confused. “All Students start out on Mission ‘S’ Then start on mission ‘B” The loud speaker yelled.
Midori just looked back me, “You have no idea? Mission ‘S’ is search, Mission ‘B’ is Battle royal!” I pretended to know what that was, I just nodded. “You still look confused, I’m searching for Ai, and she is looking for me. That is Search!”
Midori still had my arm, tight with in his fists.”You see, when I close my eye’s all there is, is darkness, and I all I can see is Ai.” He smirked at me. “Ai has a strong voice, We should be able to find her quickly, You call to, if Soubi is your real fighter you should be able to call him too.”
“He will? I thought this was just for training.” Midori just smirked.
And that’s when it hit me ,He said I could call him any time and he would always answer. “Soubi, were you telling the truth?” I asked, knowing he probably couldn’t hear me.
“AI!!!” Midori yelled, he let go of my arm to go greet her, “Midori!” She yelled back. They exchanged smiles. “Found ‘ya!” Ai nodded, “Let’s go hunting.”
“Come on Ritsuka!” Midori yelled. I nodded, ‘Oh yeah.” I said fallowing, not knowing what else to do.
At that moment, I saw what looked like sparkling piano strings, around Ai and Midori. “Why are you making such a weird face?” Midori asked, “What’s that glowing thing?” I replied.
“So you can finally see this light?” Ai smirked. I nodded, “Something’s over there.” I said with a blank stare on my face. I coacted my head to the side. Ai smiled, Midori is the one who replied. “These chains bing us together. If you don’t resist, you can see them too. Didn’t you realize that?”
I just looked back, still confused, I think even more than ever. “You have a chain as well.” In seconds of that sentence, I could see my own chain, “Were do you suppose this chain goes?” I asked, already knowing the answer.
Midori put up one of fingers, as if he were signaling someone. “I would guess to the ‘Loveless’ fighter.”
“I’m going to guess, It’s not Soubi.” Ai finished. “Right now you can’t see Soubi connection, but the day you do, is the day you understand Soubi.”
I nodded, I wanted to badly to have this chain to guide me to Soubi, anything in the world I would have given up.
Ai grabbed my hand into her own, “At least that’s I think, I don’t think he’s that bad of a person, If you’re Soubi’s master, You should do something!” She smiled at me.
“Come on Ai, let’s move on to mission ‘B’!” Midori said with an annoyed expression on his face, I guess he wasn’t happy about me holding Ai’s hand. “Don’t hold his hand.” Yes, I was right, he was annoyed by that, I smiled at his reaction.
An announcement went over the crackling intercom, “This message is for all Students, There is an Intruder within the confines of the school building, Please take special Precautions, Any battles with this Intruder will not be a practice session!” I looked up to see a dark haired man, he had no ears, his eye’s black as coal.
“Ritsuka, get out of here!!” Midori yelled.
The announcement went on, “Please, do not try and fight the intruder, all students should be in stand by in the white room.”
“So do you want to fight?” the raven haired man asked, Ai replied, “How dare you make fun of us, we accept your challenge!” Ai looked so angry, I thought she might even growl, or bite him in that moment. “Ritsuka, LEAVE!” Midori shouted, I was just about to leave, before I heard the worst, “I am Beloved, The fighter of Aoyagi Semei!”
My eye’s grew wide, Semei is alive? How could it be? Semei was dead! I watched him die!!! My hands began to shake.
“The darkness will strangle you! You can not escape!” He screamed, before many tentacles of dark matter came from the ground, to smother Ai and Midori.
I couldn’t think of what to do, so I did all I could do, “Stop it!” It was the only thing I could think of what to do, I knew it wouldn’t work, but I had to do something.
I took a daring leap in front of the two, now lying on the ground, “Don’t touch them!!” I screamed, I started to pant, I had fallen to my knees, “Soubi.....come.” I thought as I closed my eye’s “I need you!”
I didn’t know if he had heard me, but I only prayed he had. I needed him, I couldn’t fight alone, I was the sacrifice, I was not for fighting.
“But didn’t they tell you to get away? Why haven’t you?”He said in a taunting manner. I took a deep breath, “Stay away.” I said in a soft voice.
“But why, Tell me Ritsuka?” He said with an amused look on his face.
“Shut up!” I screamed, raising my tone. “Telling someone to run away, is like telling some one they want to fight for themselves, That isn’t a reason to run.” I said now my voice becoming weaker with every breath.
The raven haired man rolled his eye’s, “That seems to be an Innocent enough answer, although you were given a chance....”
“I DON’T care about the right answer.” I yelled back. “If your trying to find weak people you can control, they aren’t here! Right now their at home, sleeping.” He said with a demonic smirk, oh how much I wanted to wipe that expression of his smug face.
“I’m not looking for any right answers!” I hissed back. “There are no right answers.” I heard a familiar voice answer back, it was Soubi!
“You have to do what you think is right in your heart.” He said it with a solemn look on his face, his eye’s closed.
“Soubi, defeat him!” I said pointing my thumb back at the strange man.
“Understood.” He answered back.
