Something I wrote.

I'm sinking lower and lower;
I wanna rise higher and higher.
I don't wanna fit society's
Version of life.
I wanna be who I am,
Never who I'm not.
I can't stand to wear these chains
Anymore.
I don't want to fall farther and farther,
I want to soar higher than the clouds.
I want to be better and better,
Not trying to be like the rest of the world.
You want to hate;
Hate with more and more passion.
I want to cry out:
"It takes courage to love!"
So while we all sink lower and lower,
Think of how great it would be
To instead rise above.
