Dear Journal,
Here recently I've been really depressed because of my younger sisters having babies and getting married before me (Yes, my little sister might be pregnant!)--I just get so bitter and angy! Well, the night before my roommate and I were talking about marrige and stuff--she doesn't really want to get married or have kids, and I do, so I really don't think anything came of it. She was trying so hard to cheer me up.... I just... I get so hurt because a family of my own is something I've wanted all of my life, and it was snatched away from me in an instant! No chance what so ever of having the one thing my whole entire heart longed for.
Anyway, Just the other day my friend and I went out and ate Chinese food. I get my Fortune Cookie and it said, and I quote, "To be upset over what you don't have is to waste what you do have." I froze. I couldn't believe my eyes when I read it! It scared the living daylights out of me; Here I was, so, so very depressed--and on my birthday!--and I get that fortune.
It it didn't help at all! It made me sadder. But I think my heart is beyond repair... I will never know true happiness.
