Elisa walked into the room and looked around, it was empty again and had a putrid smell. How many times have I been here before smelling this bitter smell and thinking these putrid thoughts? I had no chance to save him this time though. She felt the empty walls and once more wondered how much this house really had seen. 10 generations of Ferrios had died in here and she had been privy to each one. If only I had died that first night.....any of those nights, then I woudn't need to hide my face and shame my family with this senseless everlasting life. Now she was the last and the line the line would neither continue nor end with her. she slumped in the corner and contemplated what to do with the house that had witnessed so much torture.
