My Trust (poem)
My secrets you tell
Leaving me grasping for the shards
Sharp like glass, cutting through me
Nothing left of me
Everything escapes my grasp
Leaving me empty, hallow
I beg, I plead
I give you my dignity
I lay it out in the open
And still you betray my trust
My trust so hard to earn
I trust so few, I trusted you
My trust, so easy to reak
And you shattered is, condemming me
How dare you
look me in the eye
How dare you
look at me
How can you live
with yourself
How could you
How could you betray my trust?
