Was it really out of pity,
that you told me you love me?
Is this all just a charade,
Am i to blinded by lies to see?

I know I'm not that pretty,
but do I really look so bad,
that you'd date me out of pity?
Did I really seem that sad?

So when you say I'm worth it,
did you maby make a mistake?
Did you really mean to say I'm worthless,
did you lie for pities sake?

So if you dont' really care,
does that mean I'll always be,
the girl without charm or values?
I that how they'll think of me?

Or is your love a pure love,
is what you say really true?
Do you really care for me,
the way I care for you?

Do you care for my heart,
and the silly way I smile?
Can you look past my many faults,
can you ignore them all the while?
